Our inaugural post here on Garden Bridge Trust comes from Gio, whom enjoys gardening for many reasons.
I enjoy having my garden for many reasons. My garden helps me relax and to focus my energy on the positive nature of helping a plant grow and help the world. When I am in my garden, nothing in the world else matters. I go to my garden to escape the harsh troubles of this world.
I would recommend anything to take up gardening, because of the fact, once your garden start to produce or grow, it will be the most rewarding thing you can do. Another reason I love to garden is because my wife has her own separate garden as well.
My wife and I will sometimes place friendly wagers about whose garden will grow the fastest and whose garden will grow the fullest. At times my wife will get frustrated because my garden will grow quicker and I will explain what I did to make mine grow quicker and we will share tips and also have good conversation about the garden.
Most people will get frustrated at first because maintaining a garden is a tedious task and will have to require special attention to be very good at the trade.
The best tips I have about gardening is to properly water and fertilize your plants. I would start by researching when plants need to be watered and when they need to be fertilized. Some plants should not be watered a lot, while others should be watered daily.
Fertilizer will most likely come with instructions, unless you are using some type of natural fertilizer. My grandmother gave me an awesome tip and that was to use the fish heads or any type of food waste you have from cooking or preparing your food and to then bury it in the soil of the plant and this will help the garden grow more quickly.
